The education programme at the DS. was developed before the beginning of the first cycle of education in 2019 and was binding with regard to doctoral students from the 2019/20 academic year for 4 years of education.
Currently (from the 2024/25 academic year), the educational programme at DS includes 20 compulsory subjects, 16 modular subjects to choose from: module I - 9 subjects, module II - 5 subjects, module III - 2 subjects, as well as the implementation of internships at CLNB, in a scientific journal, workshops (participation in a research project) and in didactics.
The curriculum also provided, in accordance with Point 5 of Art. 201 of the Act, the number of hours of professional practice in the form of conducting classes (30 h) or participating in their conduct (10 h), in the amount of 40 teaching hours per year.
All stages of the learning outcomes verification process are consistent with the applicable provisions for achieving learning outcomes required for qualifications at level 8 of the Polish Qualifications Framework (PRK) in accordance with Art. 201, Sec. 1, 4 and 5 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - the Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, Item 1571, as amended), as well as the internal regulations of the University (University System for Assuring the Quality of Education - USZJK; Senate Resolution), and §2, Sec. 5-7 and §9, Sec. 5 of the Regulations of NoKF AKF DS in Kraków, which guarantees their availability and unambiguity. The document specifying the learning outcomes for qualifications at level 8 PRK is the Senate Resolution of 27 April 2023 No. 26/IV/2023. Verification is carried out by: obtaining credits and positive grades from exams, acceptance of the IRP, giving annual reports on IRP implementation, positive mid-term assessment, submission of a doctoral dissertation, survey on classes among students, observations of classes by members of the College and collective conclusions from the survey presented at June meetings with lecturers and Ph.D. The basic verification of learning outcomes takes place when semester credits are obtained for completed subjects and exams conducted in the form specified in the subject card/curriculum, which are placed in the University Study Service System (USOSweb) and made available to students and lecturers.
