The University Doctoral Student Government Council (UDGC) of the Academy of Physical Education in Kraków (AKF Kraków) was established pursuant to the Law on Higher Education. Its mandate is to represent the doctoral‐student community in all matters concerning their rights and obligations, as well as academic, cultural, and socio‐economic conditions.

The UDGC strives to appoint its members to local and nationwide bodies, such as the Alliance of Doctoral Students of Kraków Universities, the Nationwide Alliance of Doctoral Students of AKF, and the National Representation of Doctoral Students (KRD: https://krd.edu.pl/).
