Dr. Hab. in Physical Culture Sciences, Professor at the Academy of Physical Culture. Author, co-author or editor of 30 books, including: monographs "Atrakcje Turysty" and "Fenomen, typologia, metody badania" and many textbooks (including "Polska. Geografia chwily Turysty", "Regiony Turysty. Podstawy Teory. Studia sprawy", "Krajoznawstwo. Teoria i metodyka"). Author of over 250 scientific articles published in domestic and foreign journals (including "Tourism Review", "Sustainability", Museum Management and Curatorship", "Journal of Tourism and Recreation Research") and chapters in monographs. Member of the Editorial Board of the journal "Folia Turistica", president of the Association of Tourism Experts. Member of the Council for Competences - Tourism Sector. A passionate traveler and tour guide - he has visited 130 countries on all continents. He specializes in research on tourist attractions, regional aspects of tourism geography, and especially sustainable development and inclusive tourism.

He is currently conducting research on making protected areas available for tourism, accessibility of attractions for people with disabilities, and attitudes of tourism entrepreneurs, residents, and tourists towards the problems of balancing tourism development. He also conducts research on the problems of educating tourism personnel, especially tourist guides and tour leaders.
