Dr hab. Grzegorz Lech prof. AKF 

He is employed in a teaching position at the Department of Sports Theory and Human Motor Skills at the Institute of Sports of the Academy of Physical Culture in Krakow. Member of the Board of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of the AKF in Krakow. He teaches the subject "Theory and Methodology of Combat Sports" and "Theory of Sports". Associated with judo since 1982. Multiple medalist of the championships of our country in various age categories /including gold/. Member of the national and Olympic teams. Head of training at the PZ Judo. First-class judo coach. Creator and long-time coach of the judo section of the SOKÓŁ Gymnastics Society in Myślenice.

He obtained the degree of doctor of physical culture sciences in 2002. The subject of his dissertation was the analysis of factors modifying the course of judo fights. He received his postdoctoral degree in 2015 for his research on the motor skills of judo practitioners of different ages and its relationship with the course of fights and the sports level of competitors. His overall scientific achievements include 75 publications in the field of sports theory. He was the supervisor of one doctoral thesis. He is a member of the Idōkan Polska Scientific Association.

 

Research issues include: motor skills and somatic structure of competitors in combat sports and factors modifying the technical and tactical training of judo competitors of different ages.
