Author or co-author of over 400 scientific papers (over 12,000 MNiSW/MEiN points and more than 300 IF points, Hirsch Index 22), 14 monographs, 4 academic textbooks, and editor of 4 scientific monographs. Principal investigator or co-investigator in 21 scientific research projects. Supervisor of eight successfully defended doctoral dissertations. Reviewer in 14 doctoral proceedings, 2 habilitation proceedings, and 2 proceedings for the conferment of the title of professor. Co-author of 9 patents and 2 utility models. Master-class coach in combat sports. Certified instructor in sailing, skiing, and water rescue. Yacht and motorboat captain.
His scientific activity can be divided into two main categories. The first focuses on the theory of sports training across various sports disciplines. Research in this area primarily covers the model of the champion, the exploration of relationships between motor skills and external environments, comprehensive methodological control (including sports fight analysis, recording of training loads, and progression of sports performance), and testing of general and specific fitness levels. The disciplines covered include artistic gymnastics, bodybuilding, swimming, football, and combat sports.
The second area of research interest centers around the relationship between physical activity, particularly recreational and health-oriented forms, and broadly understood safety, expanded to include aspects of health threat prevention within the domains of medicine, physiotherapy, and prophylaxis.
