PhD in Physical Culture Sciences, professor and Rector of the College of Tourism and Ecology in Sucha Beskidzka. Author, co-author, or editor of 30 books, including the monograph "Tourist Attractions - Phenomenon, Typology, Research Methods" and numerous textbooks (including "Poland. Geography of Tourist Attractions," "Tourist Regions. Theoretical Foundations. Case Studies," and "Krajoznawstwo. Theory and Methodology"). Author of over 250 scientific articles published in national and international journals (including "Tourism Review," "Sustainability," "Museum Management and Curatorship," "Journal of Tourism and Recreation Research") and chapters in monographs. Member of the Editorial Board of the journal "Folia Turistica" and president of the Association of Tourism Experts. Member of the Council for Competences - Tourism Sector. A passionate traveler, Beskid Mountain guide, and tour guide, he has visited 135 countries on all continents. He specializes in research on tourist attractions, regional aspects of tourism geography, and especially sustainable development and inclusive tourism. He is currently conducting research on the provision of access to protected areas for tourism, the accessibility of attractions for people with disabilities, and the attitudes of tourism entrepreneurs, residents, and tourists towards sustainable tourism development. He also conducts research on the education of tourism professionals, particularly tour guides and tour leaders. He is collaborating with universities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Ukraine on a Visegrad grant, "Inclusive Rehabilitation Routes: Post-Conflict Recovery Models for V4 and Ukraine." He is also the Guest Editor of a special issue of the journal Sustainability, "Sustainable Cultural Tourism: Phenomena, Forms, Relationships, and Best Practices."
